Ok, so since the motor is out already, I probably should just replace them or rebuild them. Since I want to get somewhere in the range of 450 rwhp, I have a few options. I could go stock again and get near that. CZP sells rebuilt stocks for $600 (after core) or new CHRA for $800. A local guy does rebuilt turbos as well. He has a pair of upgraded stock units with 60 trim GT28R wheels, 360 trust bearings, Garrett seals/bearings, and staggered oil ring. All balanced and what not. Wants around $1000 and he will give me $200 off for exchange of my old ones. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. What type of hp numbers do GT28R give, since they are still journal bearing I guess they would spool slower?
